ABOUT THE COMMITTEE The Local Bioethics Committee (LBC) of the National Laboratory Astana is an advisory body established in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institution's internal regulations.
The Committee protects the rights, safety, and well-being of research participants and researchers, conducts ethical review of scientific studies involving humans and animals, and monitors compliance with ethical standards throughout the research process
