Center for Life Sciences (CLS) focuses on research in the areas of genomics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, oncology, microbiome, bioengineering, biosensors and more, with a goal to understand the genetic basis of various diseases and evalutionary processes, as well as to develop new methods and tools for improving human health.

The CLS is also involved in education programs to promote science and technology in Kazakhstan and the surrounding region. It collaborates with international partners to advance research and innovation, and hosts conferences and workshops to facilitate scientific exchange.
