Project description: The approach of this project is to fundamental research, design and fabrication of inexpensive, robust and promising superhydrophobic anti-icing multifunctional materials that can be suitable for extreme road conditions and climate of Kazakhstan.

Realisation period: 2023-2025

Expected results: The expected result is the development of cost-effective, superhydrophobic anti-icing materials for road construction in Kazakhstan, enhancing technology, infrastructure, and quality of life. The project aims to publish at least three peer-reviewed articles or reviews, with at least 50% of authors from the research group. Publications will be in journals ranked in the 1st–3rd quartile of Web of Science or with a Scopus CiteScore ≥50, including at least one in a KOKSNVO MHSE-recommended journal or a top-tier publication (1st quartile Web of Science or Scopus CiteScore ≥95). / Ожидаемый результат – разработка экономичных супергидрофобных антиобледенительных материалов для дорожного строительства в Казахстане, способствующих развитию технологий, инфраструктуры и повышению качества жизни. Проект нацелен на публикацию как минимум трех рецензируемых статей или обзоров, при этом не менее 50% авторов должны быть из исследовательской группы. Публикации будут размещены в журналах, входящих в 1–3 квартиль Web of Science или имеющих CiteScore Scopus ≥50, включая как минимум одну статью в журнале, рекомендованном КОКСНВО МНВО, или в ведущем издании (1-й квартиль Web of Science или CiteScore Scopus ≥95).
