Two Scientists from the Advanced Sensor Lab Receive “Best Researcher Award 2024”

The Best Researcher Award recognizes and supports scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of science and technology in Kazakhstan. The Science Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education honored 50 distinguished researchers from universities and research institutes across the country with the Best Researcher Award 2024. Among the recipients were six outstanding scientists from Nazarbayev University (NU), including two researchers from the Advanced Sensors Laboratory at the National Laboratory Astana (NLA).
This year’s awardees from the Advanced Sensors Lab are:
Dr. Baktiyar Soltabayev, Head of the Advanced Sensors Laboratory, NLA
Dr. Amanzhol Turlybekuly, Senior Researcher, Advanced Sensors Laboratory, NLA
The selection process was highly competitive, with 308 applications submitted across seven categories: Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Medicine and Healthcare, Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, and Military Sciences and National Security.

This recognition highlights the ongoing impact of NLA scientists in advancing research and technological innovation in Kazakhstan.
